Geekin’ out…

What does one do when you have too  much time on your hands?  Well, last week I geeked out and tested my lenses to see which one could get the closest to a subject and still keep it in focus.  Here are my results:

031n0014

031n0018

031n0010

031n0016

031n0003

031n0006

Now, the fun part.  For anyone who wants to join in the “geeking out”, take a guess at which lense took which picture.  The lenses are: 16-35mm, 24-70mm, 50mm, 85mm, 100mm, 70-200mm.  For whoever gets the most pictures with the right lense correct, I’ll give you a 5×7 of your choice from any of my images from either my blog or my nature portfolio (visit jebockphotography.com to find it).  Good luck, and may the best geek win!

alisa - okay, after assigning each photo a number and then calling out a lense while rolling a die it goes (from the top down): 100mm; 16-35mm; 70-200mm; 85mm; 50mm; 24-70mm.

Bryan Rupp - Starting from the bottom up I think it goes, 100mm, 24-70mm, 16-35mm, 50mm, 85mm, 70-200mm.

Joel - Sorry, just to clarify, each picture is taken with a different lens. Whoever can match the most correct photos with the right lens (each photo is from a different lens) is what I’m aiming at. Sorry, and thanks for helping me clarify, Sarai!

Sarai - I’m going to take a guess at the 24-70mm, not for any educated reason… just because that’s my guess. :)

Results… | peace.photo.bock - [...] I have results in for the earlier pop quiz in my Geekin’ out post.  We actually had a tie between Sarai and Bryan, and as I think Bryan has won in the past [...]
